You Will Receive a Spirit of Adoption

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out,
“Abba, Father.”

Romans 8:15 assures us that we have received the Spirit of adoption when we receive the gift of salvation. What happens when we go from being an orphan to being an adopted son or daughter? We receive a family. We see this happening across the nations, especially in the Middle East among the sons of Ishmael. The Arabs, who are coming into the revelation of Jesus as their Messiah, are moving from a spiritual place of abandonment and being under an orphan spirit to a place of sonship and becoming a part of a global family.

In the secular world, social workers that deal with children who are abandoned and neglected will tell you that abandonment and neglect will harm the mental and spiritual health of a child far more than physical abuse. This tells us that we need to see a deep healing come to the souls and spirits of those who are coming into the family of God, especially within our Arab family.

God is calling us to prepare our hearts and lives to receive the sons and daughters that are coming into the family in this significant hour. God is longing for a family as well as those who are coming into the faith. Often, those coming from a Muslim background are losing earthly families for the sake of receiving Christ as their Messiah—the loss of family, inheritance, respect, livelihood, and some even losing their very lives. As a representation of our global family prepares to go to Dubai and Bahrain, let us stand as one in prayer and as a family to bless and receive brothers and sisters that we have never met who are longing for a family and a place to call home.

We declare over our Middle Eastern family from the Gulf States the words that Moses spoke over Aaron and his sons out of Numbers 6:24-26,

The Lord bless you and keep you,

the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;

the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

THE PERFUME

On June 24, 2022, the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade, which was the guarantee of abortion access for pregnant women. The church in the United States of America has been contending in prayer for a half-century for this to be overturned.

In the year prior to this miracle, the song “The Blessing” had become a theme and a declaration throughout the world among believers in Yeshua. It is a blessing that is being sung over our families, our children, and our children’s children.

The Blessing is based upon the Aaronic Blessing found in Numbers 6:24-27. Isn’t it amazing that the date of the ruling came on 6/24 (June 24th) and Numbers 6:24 begins the Aaronic Blessing by saying, “The Lord bless you and keep you…” God is blessings and keeping the little ones within the womb and he is blessing and keeping those who are in the spiritual womb, soon to be birthed into His family.

Bahrain/Dubai Gathering: October 2022

·      Pray for those who will be traveling to the Gulf States at the end of this month to join with our family there. Also, keep the family that is in Bahrain and Dubai covered in prayer and they prepare to host these gatherings.

·      Keep David and Ruth Demian in pray as David leaves for an extended two-month trip to Bahrain, Dubai, Egypt, Malaysia, and Thailand. Let us cover their family and pray for strength as David travels to each place.

THE PORTRAIT

Painting by Duan Tan, Malaysia

This painting was made for the Malaysian Family Gathering in September 2022.

“I saw this vision of a horse riding forward with a baby seated on its back. This horse has the Malaysian flag colours for its hair and tail. Red, blue and yellow.  The horse represents the New Malaysia as a new movement and in new strength. The baby represents the new generation taking hold of the nation’s future. They are moving together on the path that the Lord has set for them.”

Painting by Misuk Song

This painting was created during the 70th anniversary of Korean Liberation Day. Misuk said that she was so deeply moved by the emotion that she experienced while worshiping at the “Let’s Go Korea” stadium gathering that she had to put it on canvas.

“The root of David, the Lion of Judah, has won and the next generation in Korea is proclaiming, by faith, that they will embrace Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!”
