Dear Global Gatekeepers,

In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem. 2 Samuel 11:1

The Lord is calling his people as the kings who go to war in the spring. He is preparing us to walk in a new measure of governmental authority where his bride is revealed in purity and power, and we reveal his countenance.

In this hour, God is searching the heart of his bride of every impurity so that the enemy has no place in her. In John 14:30, Jesus says to his followers,

I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me…

We rejoice that the Spirit of the Lord has come to refine our lives to assure that the enemy has no place within us. He is purifying his bride from every place where offense, unforgiveness, judgment, or entry point for the enemy has existed. He has come as a refining fire to bring forth pure gold in our lives.

In response to God’s call to be prepared and purified to walk in a new level of governmental authority, we are inviting you into a time of fasting that will begin at sundown on the first day of Spring, Sunday, March 20. We will fast together through sunset on March 23rd to prepare our lives and hearts to go forth in purity and authority, free from temptations while being positioned as priests and kings in Christ Jesus.

You will receive a mailing each day of the fast that will assist you in focused prayer, and posture you for preparation.  This time will both prepare you and protect you in the season that we are entering.

Join us beginning at sunset (in your time zone) on March 20th and concluding at sunset (your time zone) on March 23rd, for this holy fast.

DAY ONE - March 20th, 2022

Sundown to Entering Spring

“Clothed in the Strength of the Lord”

Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armour of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.” Ephesians 6:10

First things first!

We prepare for the spring, when kings go to war, by being clothed in the full armour of the Lord— with His vast strength as we are prepared to move into a new level of authority, even governmental authority, for the days at hand.

We are asking His Spirit to clothe us in His armour—

●      Truth, as a belt around our waist. We ask the Spirit to search us and rid us of every lie and deceptive way and belief that remains within us.

●      Righteousness, as armour on our chest. We ask for His righteousness to protect our hearts and for His Spirit to cleanse us from every impure motive, thought, and choice. Create in us a clean heart.

●      Gospel of Peace, as sandals upon our feet. We ask to walk in the readiness and preparedness of the gospel of peace. May the peace of Christ reside in our hearts and minds—and may we bring peace wherever we set our feet.

●      Faith, as a shield. We ask to be washed from all doubt, double-mindedness and fear so we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one by living in faith and the fear of the Lord.

●      Salvation, as a helmet. We ask that the grace by which we were saved will cover our heads with joy, gratitude, and new mercies every day. May our works come from the overflow of first love rather than from any place that seeks to earn salvation or love. Grace has been freely given and we continue to live in that gift by which we were saved.

●      The Word of God, as a sword in our hands. We are asking for the sword of His Spirit, which is His Word, to be sharpened and precise as we war against the lies and flaming arrows of the evil one. May we daily pick up our sword and see it sharpened and made ready.

We will allow ourselves to be fully prepared so that we can take our stand. STAND, THEREFORE!  (Ephesians 6:13).

DAY TWO - March 21, 2022
First Day of Spring

“I Counsel You to Buy Gold-- Refined in Fire”

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
Revelation 3:18

Did you know that pure gold must go through many steps of refinement to reach a state of purity? The final step is the removal of even valuable metals such as silver. Although silver is a costly and desirable metal, its presence in refined gold causes impurity and mixture. The body of Christ also goes through many steps of refinement as we are being purified. This purification makes us rich in every spiritual blessing by removing mixture from our lives—even of things that the world would call valuable and desirable.

As we have now crossed into the time of spring, we will bask in the beauty of the Son so that our branches may bud and bloom with new life and beauty. The golden Son-shine comes as a flame of fire that refines us; removing all impurities that keep us from revealing Christ as the pure and beautiful One.

“‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’

Numbers 6:24-26

The Lord has come to cause his face to shine upon us, bringing blessings, grace, mercy, and peace that will keep us in days of plenty and in days of need, in days of peace and days of war. Today we are asking the Lord to make His face shine upon us—to refine us, purify us and keep us in His perfect peace.

“Turn your face toward your bride, Jesus, and be gracious toward us.”

DAY 3 - March 22, 2022

Spring

“For Lo, The Winter Has Passed—Come Away with Me”

My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, 11 for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away. 14 O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the crannies of the cliff,
let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.
15 Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom.”
Song of Solomon 2:10-15

I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine. He is calling to His bride in this hour, “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.” The spring has come to the land of our lives and blossoms are suddenly appearing. But wait, we must “catch the foxes, even the little foxes, that spoil the vineyards that are now blooming.” There is beauty and new life—even first love—appearing in His vineyard but He is aware that foxes have been sent to spoil the new fruit that is appearing as spring flowers.

When Jesus said that the devil has no place in Him (John 14:30), it is because there were no foxes within His life to steal, kill or destroy the perfect purity of His sinless life. God is exhorting us to together catch the foxes, even the little foxes, that come to spoil the vineyard that will yield new wine. He is refining us from every impurity (even the seemingly little ones) that opens the way for the evil one to come in and destroy the spring blossoms of fruitfulness.

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Revelation 19:7-8

We are a bride who willingly is making herself ready—for the righteous acts of the saints will be seen throughout the world. He has sent angels and heavenly hosts to serve as bridal attendants to assist us in our preparation. We are being clothed in righteous acts that come from a pure heart, overflowing in adoration for our Bridegroom. Today, we say, “Make us ready.” We ask for the blossoms to be preserved and protected as we allow His Spirit to chase every little fox out of our lives.
