This morning, not knowing anything about this Consecration Call, the Lord had me read several chapters in Hosea and I was thinking about how we can be so self-centered and rebellious and all God wants is the best for us but we want our own way. Then the Holy Spirit took me to Ezekiel chapter 1 and I was pondering and thinking about the four living creatures and the wheels with eyes. I just thought, “God you are so Holy, why do we think we can understand you? Your thoughts are high above us, who are we that you would be mindful of us?” Then the Lord had me dance and as I was dancing I saw the throne with the 24 elders and then I was dancing on a sea of glass and everywhere my feet danced was fire on my feet up to my knees. I had no idea what this all meant except that he is awesome and I can trust him with my life, that I can lay down everything for him who is so Holy. Then 2 hours later I found your site and signed up for the daily devotions and then today’s devotion blew me away, how we can be connected by the Holy Spirit hearing the same thing.

I have been saved since I was six years old. Having sat in "churches" most of my life, sometimes forced to, sometimes wanted to, and sometimes needed to. During those times I grew accustomed to expecting to hear from only those of some acclaim or title or position. However in my later years I have heard God from the craziest places and people and have been blessed through those of us of the insignificant variety as much as anyone. Thanks for letting them be heard. I look forward to your daily e-mails.

Two months ago, God began stirring my heart in the area of a 40 day water only fast. This is something I have never considered in my Christian life before. I prayed about it to be sure that God was initiating this fast and I received confirmation and assurance to go ahead with it, knowing that because God was in it, mighty results would follow. My burden has always been for the church of Canada to rise up with power and authority and to begin to pray earnestly for revival for the land. We have been praying for several years now for revival to flood our nation, beginning in the churches, starting with the leadership. At the time of this writing, I am on my 36th day of water only, and though my body is taking quite a toll, my spirit is alive with God's promise and His faithfulness as your devotional for today so powerfully communicated. I found it awesome when I received an email from my daughter-in-law of the call for consecration for the Church of Canada. Truly, God's timing is now for His Spirit to be poured out upon the land like never before. These are tremendously exciting days for the body of Christ as we behold the visions, promises and expectations coming to pass this year of 2007! God bless you in your labours of love for this great country of Canada.  "The blessing of the upright exalts the city..." Proverbs 11:11

Several months ago, the Lord put it on the heart of a friend to invite intercessors from our city to gather on a bi-weekly basis to pray for our government at all levels, particularly elections when and where they would come up. As we gathered together last Saturday afternoon (August 4) to pray, one of the women present started to praise and thank God for what He is doing in Canada with respect to this time of consecration. Specifically, she thanked God for how He is leading all of us to pray together as one, to hear one another speak from all across Canada as one Body, and to function in unity that way. As she prayed, she saw a prairie fire starting across Canada. The fire was low to the ground and moving fast, started by God Himself. She continued to pray as she saw this picture. Another woman in our group began to hear in her spirit during this prayer that this deeper functioning of unity as a Body of believers will stop the Jezebel spirit and the Leviathan spirit from operating in the Body of Christ the way that it has in the past.

When the prayer time was done and we discussed these things together, we were all in agreement that what God is directing us to do in this consecration is breaking the power of Jezebel and Leviathan. There has been a breakthrough in the spiritual realm for Canada. In the past, words/revelations/dreams, etc. that used to be shared only at the leadership level or only at the intercessor level are now being released to the whole Body, and it's like the whole Body is breathing now. Flesh is coming onto the bones!

We thank you for hearing the Word of the Lord and following it in obedience, and we rejoice for what God is doing!

God is awesome! I'm thankful for unity in the Spirit and always overjoyed at the confirmation of what He reveals.   Without having any prior knowledge, the Lord Himself revealed the same process to me, on exactly the same dates. Praise God!!!

At first, the Lord spoke to me about "Gilgal." Then there was a burden to exercise "the rebuilding of the wall" in the church and my family and the consistent message since February this year is "new wine, in new wineskins."

Subsequently I have spoken to 2 individuals at Tyndale University College and Seminary (where I'm a resident) and both informed me that they were studying the book of Nehemiah, unaware of the Watchmen website.

I just want to say thank you for being sensitive to the flow of the Spirit.
I had just come across your website on 100 Huntley Street program.

I would like to share a dream that I had about three weeks ago.
"In my dream I was sitting in a chair and was thinking about my neighbor who does not want to acknowledge God, even though this person has a religious background. As I was thinking about this Pastor Benny Hinn laid his hands upon my head and a word of knowledge came forth and he said that this person was called but then he said that I was to be set apart and consecrated." End of dream.

I believe that this call and consecration is the exact confirmation that I needed. This has lifted my faith and given me more specific direction and dedication towards a meaningful purpose.

I have really noticed this year that it seems that when God is about to move or do something wonderful that there is a time of testing and conflict just before the great is about to happen.
It is truly amazing how the work of the Spirit never ends. Such wondrous love!

I feel that in these days we need to have great mercy for one another, because the Spirit is going to reveal things in our lives that have been hidden or that we even felt were dealt with these will be 'hard things’. So I feel that our mercy needs to be great towards the person so our Father is free to work on them. Also, I would encourage those who are having these areas revealed, not to run from them, but seek help from those you trust and help get these areas dealt with.

I love so much that the season the Lord has me in personally fits with the consecration time for us as a nation. David mentioned a transitioning into the next purposes of God for us.
I feel He has given me a 'report card' picture. I am in a cocoon with the Lord and the cocoon wrapping is a close enclosure of His Spirit. There is an inclination of something like a butterfly later, but the important part is that there is time for intimacy with the Lord, without room to initiate works on my part.

My spirit witnesses very strongly to the call of Watchmen for the Nation, and the call of the Holy Spirit upon your life. I lift you up to the Lord and to His awesome love for you. Be filled with His joy!!
About 3 years ago as I was walking down the stairs the Holy Spirit spoke inside of me and said, "Clarity of thought".  Isn't that strange? Two years later He spoke to me again and said;
"Clarity of thought produces an atmosphere that promotes order; and order is of God; for without order there is no discipline, and without discipline there is no leadership".

Every day I am blessed when I read "Thy Kingdom Come" e-mails. Thank you. I was startled to see through the e-mails how much of everything the Lord is saying in this season is really all about "order".  I hear the Spirit saying; "Let there be holiness and righteousness unto God in the temple of God". From there we begin to express the Kingdom of God. From there we come into proper order.

Be filled with the Spirit
Be filled with His power and might
Rejoice greatly in Him
My brother, be filled with His light.
And may He guide and protect you!

Late last fall the Lord brought me to a place where I was not satisfied with myself and, as was put in "call to consecration," was realigning myself and my family to consecrate ourselves to God. We have and still are living in this "season of alignment" In fact Jer 32:38-41 has been the verses my wife has been praying over our family for the last year!!!

When I read the "call to consecration" I realized that it is the Lord calling His bride with an even more desperate call to be Holy. Praise the Lord He gives ears to hear!~!!!!

This gives greater understanding to so much that has been going on lately.  Also it confirms what some prophetic intercessors and I have been discerning.  During our prayer meeting a couple weeks ago, when former seasons there would not have been so much "talking", we shared with each other at length about what we thought God was saying and doing in this season.  We also talked about how God was stirring something so urgent, so intense and serious within us concerning the areas of: total consecration, fasting (not food), hearing God as a group, importance of our relationships, and personal/corporate preparation.  Something is coming and it is very near.  It has to do with breakthrough and a huge release, to wake up and seek the Lord, His Kingdom and His righteousness in every area of our lives.  Fervently.  We find things are shifting and not the same, many are caught in trying to go back or stay in what “was”.  We are praying we all let go of what we need to and hang onto God and what He is saying, like never before.  There are so many in the Valley of Decision.  It is Time.

I have had Amos 7:8 or the last couple of years and even more strongly in the last little while. Amos 7:8 And the Lord said to me, Amos, what do you see? And I said, a plumb line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I am setting a plumb line as a standard in the midst of My people Israel. I will not pass by and spare them any more.

While I was in Winnipeg recently I kept feeling the ground shifting, and shifting sands came to my mind.  At first, I thought I was dizzy, but others were feeling it too - then I felt the Lord say, “ Position yourself and the scriptures from Matthew” There were tremendous thunder storms there too and tornadoes -Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?
Matthew 7:23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps. 6:8.]
Matthew 7:24 So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock.
Matthew 7:25 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
Matthew 7:26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand.

I feel it is not a time to lie back and relax.  Words carry great power and we need to guard our lips.  Matthew 7:23 and Amos 7:8 say to me that the shift will be publicly noticeable and there will be no doubt it is God.  So calling the nation to alert I don't think is an option, but a definite.

It is extremely interesting that your email came at this hour.  It affirms many things that have taken place from the week leading up to July 7 to the present.  Briefly, these were in my thoughts and plans that are still in the works as I am waiting on Him for further directions for my church.  You (David) are right, as it is not about the physical of prayer and fasting or gathering, but of the heart.  This is perhaps the season for pockets (groups) of believers all over doing whatever the Lord will direct.
 -I have been reading Daniel very slowly this week as He is speaking much through this book for this season.
 -I felt led to share 2 Kings 18 tomorrow (Sunday): the window of opportunity before us. We need to continue to strike; not once, twice or thrice, but over and over and over.  Not to be taken by offense, or complacency even in this season.  Watch as the journey is getting intense.
 -I felt the need to do a Gilgal Day in September just before the Feast of Tabernacles. Still waiting on Him for further directions.   Several things took place at Gilgal.  The themes stones, circumcision, rest, and divine revelation.

 A friend emailed this article to me, Thy Kingdom Come: A National Call to Consecration. Up until now I have felt that Jesus and I have been walking a secret walk and I have enjoyed this intimacy with Him. Now I feel that I am in a great company of believers and I like this too and I am astounded.

The dates you mentioned rang like deep wind chimes in my heart, made everything seem more like a song than the cry of this past year.
